Concrete, foundation repair, pavers & hardscape and epoxy & garage flooring are live with national ranges, sources and dates. Asphalt and retaining walls are still being priced.
Concrete is cheaper per square foot: about $6–$15 installed for a driveway against $10–$25 for a paver patio in our national ranges (checked Oct 2026). Pavers cost more but can be lifted, relaid and repaired piece by piece.
Use the concrete calculator for yards and bags, the driveway & patio cost estimator for an installed price, and the quote checker once bids arrive.
It depends on the state and job size. Arizona requires a license at $1,000 or more, North Carolina at $40,000 or more, and Texas has no statewide general contractor license. Check your job in the license check tool.
We publish a service only after its prices come from three or more sources and each one is dated. Until then its page stays out of search results, so you only find guides with real numbers.
